Requesting Pool Area for Private or Neighborhood Events
Winston Manor homeowners may rent the pool area for private or neighborhood events, with management and Board approval. All private parties must be requested through the pool manager at least 2 weeks in advance in order to make sure staffing is sufficient. Please email Burns Pool Management to request your party (bburns@burnspoolmanagement.com). In addition, the Board will also review the party request. Please note that all parties will be conducted during normal pool hours which means other residents still have access to the pool whether or not a party is planned. Only one party per day will be allotted with a maximum of 40 party guests allowed, both residents and nonresidents.
- For 5 guests or less the cost will be the regular $5.00 guest fee per non-resident attendee paid to Winston Manor.
- For 6-15 guests the rental fee will be $200 which includes the fees for up to 15 guests.
- For 16-25 guests the rental fee will be $300 which includes the fees for up to 25 guests.
- For 26-40 guests the rental fee will be $400 which includes the fees for up to 40 guests.
*A separate, refundable, deposit of $100 must be made to Winston Manor in order to hold your party date. The deposit will be returned as long as the host ensures the pool area is left in the same conditioned as rented.
**If the pool manager deems a party needs an additional lifeguard due to size, this will be communicated prior to reserving the party and the additional fee will be the responsibility of the host.
Size of the party may be restricted depending on other ongoing activities or guard availability. The pool manager and Board will advise when you request the party if it’s feasible and what costs will be.
Per regular guest fee policy: There are no guest fees for guests that are above 60, under 5, out-of-town, parents or grandparents of a resident, children or grandchildren of a resident, or babysitter of a resident.
Parties may not be permitted after Aug 20th due to staffing of lifeguards (this does not apply to having guests at the pool during these periods). Please communicate with pool manager for approval.
Entertaining Guidelines for All Pool Events
If you host an event at the pool, you are in charge and should be at the pool during the entire event. Please ensure that no glass is brought into the pool area. You may bring in food, beverage, decor that is easily removed and small games. You may not bring in large items like slides, inflatable bounce houses, etc. All guest must leave by 8:00 pm and all clean up activities completed. Host/hostess are responsible for ensuring the pool area is left in the same conditioned as rented.
